Dust Collector Information:  Dust collectors come in numerous styles, sizes, and prices; choosing the one that suits your requirements and budget are real concerns.  Specs to be considered:

• Cubic feet per minute (cfm) capacity; 1600 cfm is good.
• Chip bag capacity; 42 gallon double bag is desirable.
• Size of dust particles in microns, captured by filtration bags; should be less than 30 microns.
• The impeller should be powered by a minimum two HP motor.
• A minimum of 3-port manifold for connecting to multiple tools.
• The impeller should be large at least 12" and made of a quality material like cast aluminum for reliable usage.
